Best Practices
Throughout Adams County there are many outstanding practices currently employed. In an effort to provide a platform for those educators who have identified and can articulate measurable plans that work, this portion of the ACEC website is for you. Please submit best practices that align with any of the core objectives of ACEC:
- Objective 1: Increase the overall successful completion rate, both secondary and post-secondary, for Adams County students and better prepare them for professions within the county
- Objective 2: Incorporate the family into the student learning solution
- Objective 3: Improve the support for teachers, guidance counselors and administration as workplace mentors and resources

The lesson plan area of this site is open to all educators. Once an lesson plan has been submitted it is reviewed by an academic review committee prior to posting.
These lessons are open for sharing. Please feel free to generate as many lessons as you like and provide comments and suggestions on those you use in your class. These suggestions will benefit other instructors who will also use them.
In addition to the Exemplary Lesson Plans created by Adams County educators that incorporate state standards of academic achievement with workplace competencies , these sites have been collected to help add to the creativity and relevance of our classroom instruction.
