Gary Horvath, Broomfield Colorado based economist provided an overview of the national and state economy. He pointed out that the impact has been felt by all segments but it has been largely a private sector recession. Our state sector leaders of tourism, healthcare, professional/scientific, temporary employment, wholesale trade and higher education represent over 40% of our total employee base in Colorado. As the economy is restructured, these will help lead us out of the recession. To view the full presentation open or download it here.
