2006 Annual Campaign

for the

Adams County Education Consortium

We invite you to support the efforts of the Adams County Education Consortium through your tax-deductible contributions at the following levels:

• Board Level Membership $20,000 annually for five years $100,000
• Consortium Sponsorship $10,000 annually for five years $ 50,000
• ACEC Patron $ 3,001 to $6,000 annually
• ACEC Partner $ 1,000 to $3,000 annually
• ACEC “Friends” Under $1,000 annually

Your financial contribution will help support these critical objectives for Adams County

• Objective #1: Increase the overall successful completion rate, both secondary and post-secondary, for Adams County learners and better prepare them for professions within the county. Goals include the creation of trade academies; opportunities for student career exploration; hands on instruction in classrooms;. and skill development for all students.
• Objective #2: Incorporate the family into the student learning solution. Goals Include. Providing resources for all family members that enable them to focus on education rather than social and human services needs, creating training programs to bridge skills for our work interested population; and providing presentations by local industries on the career opportunities available.
• Objective #3: Improve the support for teachers, guidance counselors, and administration as workplace mentors and resources.

Goals for 2006 include anopportunity for teachers and administrators to visit area businesses; development of a “Speakers’ Bureau” for classroom presentations and lesson plan creation; andprofessional leadership training and development.
